Clear Answers

Frequently Asked Questions about Nexu

How does Nexu differ from traditional dating apps?

Nexu eliminates superficial endless catalogs and retention algorithms. It uses a real-time radar, 50/50 demographic quotas per city, penalizes ghosting with Nexu Coins, and features Couples Mode.

How does the anti-ghosting system and rewards work?

Respect and punctuality have tangible value. Users with active, thoughtful conversations earn Nexu Coins. Repeatedly ghosting conversations temporarily dims your radar visibility.

Why is there a waitlist and 50/50 demographic rule?

Traditional apps suffer from up to 80% men to 20% women imbalance. Nexu ensures true parity through automated city waitlists, giving everyone an equal, real chance to date.

What is Couples Mode and how do you redeem plans?

When two people become a couple, they scan each other's QR codes. Singles radar turns off, unlocking a shared calendar and private discounts at romantic restaurants, bars, and spas.

How do you guarantee profile verification and no bots?

Every user verifies via OTP code and Google Cloud Vision AI with community validation, eliminating 100% of fake accounts and spam.

How does Nexu protect privacy, photos and GPS location?

Nexu never reveals exact coordinates: it applies quadrant anonymization preventing GPS triangulation. Photos are stored encrypted on Hippius.
